About the Role

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will:

  • Conduct assessments and develop evidence-based behaviour support plans
  • Work collaboratively with participants, families, carers and support teams
  • Deliver training and coaching to strengthen support environments
  • Identify and reduce restrictive practices in line with NDIS requirements
  • Prepare high-quality reports and documentation
  • Manage your own caseload and schedule with flexibility and autonomy
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team with access to regular clinical supervision

About You

We are looking for experienced, reflective and values-driven professionals who are passionate about improving outcomes for people with disability.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Registration as a NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Experience providing behaviour support and/or working with people with disability, psychosocial disability or complex support needs
  • A qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling or another relevant allied health/human services discipline
  • Strong communication, assessment and report-writing skills
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
  • A commitment to ethical, culturally responsive and trauma-informed practice

Experience working in regional, remote or cross-cultural settings will be highly regarded.

Requirements

Successful applicants will need to hold or obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
  • NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner Suitability
  • Current Driver Licence and access to a vehicle
  • Relevant professional registration/accreditation
  • National Criminal History Check
