  • Salary: $73,795.28 - $79,135.16, plus super and salary packaging is available

About the role

The role of the Case Support Worker is to work cooperatively with Care Services case managers, under the direction of the Targeted Care Packages Team Leader, Culturally respectful support to clients and / or carers by supporting them to undertake tasks. These tasks may include: transporting and supporting children and carers to attend appointments, activities and contact with family. The role will include administrative tasks such as; filling, entering data and case noting. These activities are undertaken within the framework of each child’s case plan.

About You

  • Demonstrated understanding in working with Aboriginal families and children.
  • Growing knowledge and/or lived experience with an understanding of Child Protection and out of home care system.
  • Some experience working with young people who have complex needs and behaviours and the ability to engage with young people with varying interests and abilities.
  • Sound administration skills – including ability to record case notes, maintain files, use computer databases.
  • Excellent time management skills, communication skills, reliability, accountability, and commitment to high quality client service

Requirements: 

  • Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a certificate in community services (or working towards).
