About the role

This is a dynamic and rewarding new role for an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment

You will play a vital role in supporting the Director and Legal Practice Division.

  • Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and daily schedule and workflow of the Legal Practice Director
  • Preparing and formatting a range of legal documents, including reports, letters and presentations with utmost accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintaining comprehensive filing systems and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive legal information.
  • Coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring effective follow-up on action items.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries and requests with professionalism and discretion.
  • Providing administrative support to the Legal Practice Division including coordinating travel arrangements, organising events, managing supplies, and coordinating office operations.

About you

To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional organisational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively, and a strong commitment to confidentiality and integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential. Experience in a legal or professional services environment would be highly advantageous

Requirements

  • Qualifications in relevant diploma, degree or equivalent such as Business Administration. Mid to final year law students may also be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in high level administrative roles, including providing support to Executives. Alternatively relevant experience in the legal sector may also be considered.
  • Valid Police Check, a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
