HTI is seeking to appoint a new Senior Specialist (Responsible Technology Policy) to the team on a two-year fixed term contract.
You will have a leading role in HTI’s program of work on responsible technology policy and take a key leadership position in the design, delivery and management of work packages that will drive meaningful reform, capability uplift, and action in the Australian AI regulatory space.
You will be a senior member of the HTI team, leading the design and delivery of key reports and acting as a senior representative in our engagements with with government, civil society and industry to ensure that our research affects real and lasting change.
You will be at the forefront of work which is focused on enabling safe and responsible AI policy, practices and regulation for Australia.

A competitive remuneration package is on offer for the successful candidate.
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 2 years. This role is predominantly performed on campus four days per week, with the option to work one day remotely.
