Anti-Slavery Australia is an Australian leader in the anti-slavery movement. Since 2003, we have advocated for ending modern slavery through policy development and research. We are the only specialist legal organisation providing free legal advice and representation to victims and survivors of modern slavery in Australia.

We have extensive experience training frontline and community workers, government officials, law enforcement, private sector employees as well as students and educators. We have a track record of excellence and we are recognised by government, business, frontline service providers and community partners as a professional and trustworthy source of information and advice.

About the Role

The Projects and Partnerships Officer will support Anti-Slavery Australia, in developing and delivering leading awareness-raising and training programs, and projects on modern slavery, through program coordination, content development, and administrative and operations support. This role is casual until the end of December 2023.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing high quality learning content, resources, activities, and digital learning experiences across multiple projects
  • Providing input and guidance to the design imagery, videos and supporting assets development process
  • Providing effective and efficient project coordination and administration including: monitoring requests and enquiries; supporting the development of training proposals, providing reports to clients, invoice preparation, data entry and records management
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the business/client-focussed projects and programs
  • Identifying opportunities for operational improvement, propose solutions and drive change and efficiencies in the team’s practices

With examples, please outline in a separate document how you meet the three (3) key selection criteria points:

  1. Work at a high level of accuracy on design and implementation of technologies for learning, whilst working in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining excellent work presentation
  2. Knowledge of modern slavery or the ability to acquire knowledge quickly.
  3. Experience in coordination and design of learning solutions in the community/corporate/executive education sector and to audiences/learners, or experience in developing engaging and effective content for a wide-range of audiences.

Remuneration & Benefits

Hourly rate : $61.09 - $66.14 (HEW 6)

The university offers 10.5% employer provided superannuation in addition to the hourly rate.

This position will be made on a casual basis, for up to 21 hours per week, with an end date of 31st December 2023.
