UMFC is seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader to lead our Family Relationship Centre (FRC) in Wodonga in a Full-time capacity.

As the Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading a professional team that delivers Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) and integrated family support services. Your leadership will help ensure child-focused, culturally safe, and trauma-informed practice across the service.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Provide leadership, supervision and clinical oversight to a multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure high-quality, compliant delivery of FDR and related support services
  • Oversee intake, assessment, and family dispute resolution processes
  • Collaborate with external partners, including courts, legal services, and family violence organisations
  • Support workforce development, team culture, and continuous practice improvement

About You

You will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Law, Social Sciences or related field
  • Knowledge of Family Law and Family Dispute Resolution (advantageous)
  • Proven experience leading or supervising clinical or family law-related services
  • Strong knowledge of the Family Law Act 1975, DSS funding guidelines and risk frameworks
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to UMFC’s values and trauma-informed principles
