As a Student Liaison Officer working within the Safer Communities Office, a significant focus of your work will be to provide trauma informed case management and support to students who have experienced sexual assault, sexual harassment and/or domestic/family violence. Other types of support needs may include mental health, psychological, personal and wellbeing difficulties.
You will use a wide range of approaches and interventions including intake assessment, case management, advice and information, health promotion and campus wide behavioural education programs. You will also work collaboratively with other teams within the Student life portfolio to achieve positive student outcomes.
