The Sydney Environment Institute is a national and world leader in multidisciplinary environmental and climate research, known in particular for work in the environmental humanities and social sciences. The Communications and Engagement Officer will work closely with a small team who support the delivery of SEI’s mission to extend and amplify the scope of engagement on environmental issues and bring together expertise from across disciplines to tackle the greatest challenges in favour of the common good.
As the Communications and Engagement Officer, you will deliver SEI’s communications strategy to increase the reach of, and drive engagement with, SEI’s research. You will continue to build SEI’s reputation as a leading climate and environment institute and play a key role in coordinating and managing communications on a variety of platforms.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
