The Sydney Environment Institute (SEI) is commencing a new program of work to accelerate multidisciplinary research in the biodiversity space. Alongside climate change, biodiversity loss is recognised as the gravest environmental challenge we currently face.
In recognition of the biodiversity crisis, there is increasing momentum and interest in biodiversity, notably from government and industry. This includes the Nature Repair Act and Nature Positive Plan, reforms to the EPBC Act and likely new nature disclosure requirements.
As the Biodiversity Hub Manager, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of a suite of initiatives with researchers across the University and beyond, and building further opportunities for the University of Sydney’s engagement in biodiversity research.
