THE OPPORTUNITY

The role of the Receptionist is to be the first point of contact for the Regency Green Facility, and provide administrative support to the team. This role will welcome all visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone by providing high quality customer service to all clients. This role will ensure the smooth running of the general office functions and that all queries are directed appropriately and in a timely manner.

KEY responsibilities INCLUDE:

Customer Service/Reception Duties

  • Provide a high level of customer service at the front desk, including answering the phone and greeting visitors
  • Facilitate professional communication within the facility, between services, external resources and the wider community as delegated
  • Greet, assist and/or direct students, visitors and the general public
  • Receive written and verbal complaints and advise Site Operations Manager.
  • Assist contractors to liaise with site maintenance personnel

Administration

  • Receiving, sorting and dispatching deliveries
  • Possibly managing office supplies such as stationery, equipment and furniture
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
  • Assist in coordination of corporate orientation, training days and assessment centres
  • Enter training data accurately and timely

Resident Program Support

  • Prepare appropriate documentation for the admission of residents into the Facility and subsequent discharge
  • Effectively and efficiently manage internal and external complaints ensuring referral of complaints to the SOM
  • Other duties consistent with the position where required and/or requested by management from time to time.

To be successful in the role you will have:

Essential

  • Current Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Check
  • Strong customer service focus with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications including: Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, Access (or other data base software)
  • Fantastic communication skills both written and verbal

Desirable

  • Certificate III/IV in Business Administration or relevant
  • Experience in the use of TechOne

You will also demonstrate a positive and professional "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to work equally well as a member of a team or working alone.
