Provide a high level of support and assistance to residents whilst supporting the resident’s right to choice, independence and dignity. Located at our Felixstow Residential Aged Care facility Aldersgate, you would be joining a supportive and friendly environment!

There is a range of AM, PM & ND shifts available.

Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Providing personal care to residents such as bathing, showering, personal hygiene and grooming 
  • Assistance with meals and drinks 
  • Applying practices and promote wellness to help older people improve their independence and quality of life 
  • Following care plans, observing and recording individual care notes 
  • Provide accurate use of mechanical aids

About you

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Previous Care Worker experience in Aged Care
  • Proficiency in writing care notes and inputting them into an automated system.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the standards and guidelines of Residential Aged Care
