Working with our Community Aged Care Service, the Clinical Manager plays a crucial role in providing both clinical and operational leadership, working closely with the Executive Manager. 

Responsibilities include overseeing the coordination of human, physical, and financial resources within the clinical services team. The Clinical Manager is accountable for ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, delivering high-quality clinical services, and nurturing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a full-time permanent position. 

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Establish, embed, and facilitate clinical review groups and practices across the Community Aged Care service area.
  • Identify gaps in unmet needs to ensure care plans are modified to respond to individual changes.
  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision to the Nursing team.
  • Works with UC’s Learning and Development department to provide clinical training to staff.
  • Review clinical incidents and develop appropriate strategies to respond to the customer needs.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
  • High level knowledge of Australian Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and implementing quality improvements.
  • Experience in the Aged Care accreditation process (Desirable)
