Case Worker - New ROADS

New ROADS is a growing, dynamic and supportive team of professionals providing holistic and innovative drug and alcohol and comorbidity services.

We provide 1:1 counselling, group work, case management and residential rehabilitation across our service. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who is keen to join the team and provide the highest standard of client support. 

This role will have a specialist focus within our residential rehabilitation service and In Home Detox, also engaging in outpatient case work and group work. 

This role is a Full Time Permanent role based in Adelaide CBD with outreach required. 

The New ROADS Case Worker role incorporates a diverse mix of responsibilities including:

  • office and outreach based, therapeutic and practical AOD services for our residential client group
  • supporting people who are accessing our AOD residential program to make long term, healthy changes in their lives
  • developing partnerships with the community to create better outcomes for clients and drive referrals into the service
  • breaking down the stigma associated with AOD and mental health issues

About You

You will possess the following:

  • Minimum Cert IV in AOD or equivalent education, or a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • Demonstrated professional experience in providing intensive support and case work with clients
  • Experience working with internal staff and external stakeholders from other agencies
  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of clients, community groups, and agencies
