Role Purpose

The Corporate Workplace Manager oversees and delivers outstanding workplace experiences across Uniting’s Corporate Portfolio offices. Reporting to the Corporate Real Estate Manager, you will play a pivotal role in aligning property services with strategic and financial goals, while managing a small team and ensuring a high standard of service excellence. The role spans approximately 1,000 workpoints across nine locations including Sydney CBD, Parramatta CBD, metro and regional sites. These offices support various Directorates and are vital in delivering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and support a team of Office Coordinators to deliver exceptional workplace experiences.
  • Lead a team responsible for delivering excellence in workplace experience ensuring that all enquiries and workplace requests are handled efficiently, managing escalations where necessary.

Client and Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary contact for building management, promptly resolving facilities issues.
  • Oversee the delivery of workplace management services to ensure a seamless and efficient employee experience.
  • Develop and implement standardised procedures and performance measures.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Workplace Health and Safety legislation and Uniting’s policies.

Service Excellence and Innovation:

  • Apply design thinking to create agile, inclusive, and engaging office environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging stakeholder feedback and workplace technology.
  • Promote innovation and efficiency across all aspects of workplace delivery.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to support service delivery and strategic planning.
  • Contribute to budgeting processes, monitor expenditure, and resolve discrepancies in invoicing and procurement.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices and problem-solve discrepancies as they arise.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in workplace or office management, preferably within a corporate setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong track record of delivering exceptional client experiences and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Sound understanding of workplace trends, employee engagement and best practices in office environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen including experience in budgeting and reporting.
  • Experience supporting diverse teams and understanding of services delivered to disadvantaged communities.
  • Proficient IT skills, including a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Intermediate Excel skills required.
