This is a permanent part-time opportunity working 3 days (21 hours) per week and will be based at Uniting Counselling and Mediation in Wollongong - must be available to work Wednesdays 11am – 7pm fortnightly
As a Child and Family counsellor, you will provide individual therapy, family therapy and group-based support to children and young people. You’ll also engage with parents to help strengthen the parent-child relationship and reduce the chronic stress and trauma symptoms children are experiencing post-separation.
Uniting Counselling and Mediation has a long history of high-quality service delivery, being well regarded and connected with Family Law stakeholders. As an Anchor counsellor, you will provide individual therapy, family therapy and group-based support to children and young people. You’ll also engage with parents to help strengthen the parent-child relationship and reduce the chronic stress and trauma symptoms children are experiencing post-separation through psycho-educational and therapeutic groups.
