About the role:

This is a full-time permanent opportunity located in Campbelltown. Starting base annual salary of $79,823 to $87,169 negotiable based on experience, plus super, plus access to generous salary packaging options. This is a male identified position.

About the opportunity:

Make a real impact by supporting fathers and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our Doorways for Men and Couples with Children program supports fathers and couples with children to secure safe housing and rebuild strong, connected families. This role is ideal for a motivated caseworker with a heart for social justice and a passion for working with men and families in crisis.

  • Provide trauma-informed, strengths-based casework to men and couples with children facing homelessness.
  • Work with families to create clear case plans addressing housing, parenting, domestic violence, mental health, and employment.
  • Support clients through crisis, home visits, and ongoing advocacy.
  • Build relationships with local housing providers and services across the Macarthur and Wollondilly regions.
  • Encourage participation in community activities focused on parenting and family wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate case records and actively contribute to program evaluation and improvement.

Your Qualifications & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences and at least 2 years' experience supporting men or families in complex situations.
  • Strong understanding of homelessness, child protection, domestic and family violent, and trauma.
  • A collaborative, culturally responsive approach with excellent communication and advocacy skills.
  • Confidence in working independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • A current driver’s licence and current NSW WWCC
