The Role

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong data skills to join our team and play a key role in data migration, data cleansing, and data analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand, refine, and improve data processes ensuring data integrity and seamless transitions between systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Migration: Support and oversee the end-to-end migration of data between systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Data Cleansing: Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors through rigorous validation techniques.
  • Data Understanding: Analyze, interpret, and document data structures, business rules, and relationships across datasets.
  • Business Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to define data needs and develop clear requirements for system enhancements or migrations.
  • Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed data audits and verifications to uphold the quality and integrity of business data.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, data engineers, and business units to ensure smooth data transitions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data management and enhance reporting capabilities

About You

  • Knows HR Technologies inside-out: Experience with HRIS platforms (Dayforce a plus) and the ability to explore, test, and configure system functionality.
  • Thrives in a SaaS environment: Understands the limitations of a SaaS product and how to work within its framework rather than customise.
  • Excels in vendor management: Confidently negotiate with vendors to drive the best outcomes.
  • Understands integrations Skilled in data mapping, integration design, and ensuring seamless system connections.
  • Communicates with impact: Able to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language, guiding non-project stakeholders through the change.
  • Is a natural mentor: Enjoys coaching and supporting other Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • 4+ years as a Business Analyst, ideally in large-scale HRIS implementations.
  • Strong grasp of BA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proven ability to navigate complex organisations, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.
  • A passion for social impact and working in mission-driven environments.
  • Experience in HR process implementation (highly desirable).
  • Exposure to large-scale organisations (2,000+ employees) is a plus.
