About the Opportunity

The Area Manager is responsible for leading the development of the Home and Community Care team and their clients, within the ACT and West NSW area. They will establish plans and strategies to contribute to the growth of the Directorate, and coordinate budgeting and reporting activities for the area.

This is a permanent full-time role, that can be based at our service centres in Riverina, Orange and ACT. 

Who we’re looking for

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Management, Aged Care, Community Care, Health, Business and/or working towards or equivalent years of experience
• Strong leadership and people management experience
• Previous experience in Aged Care, Community Care or Health industry
• Significant understanding for client needs, to convert these into positive service delivery outcomes and strategies
• Manage and coordinate the delivery of operations and resources to meet targets and business needs
• Ability to effectively plan and manage budgets within the financial year
• Contribute to the leadership team and directorate, to develop strategies and business plans to promote growth and solutions
• Confident in building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
