The Role
United Way Australia is seeking a dynamic and motivated Corporate Partnerships & Marketing Coordinator to support the delivery of strategic partnerships, our volunteering program and marketing campaigns. This role will work closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships & Marketing to amplify United Way's mission, strengthen partnerships, and enhance our community impact. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social impact, have strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail and be comfortable managing multiple projects.
This role is full time and provides a work from home hybrid opportunity, with at least 1 day a week working from the Sydney city office.
The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Head of Corporate Partnerships & Marketing with the portfolio of corporate partnerships to enhance growth and impact.
- Coordinate existing corporate volunteering program, including partner relationships, assessing new volunteering opportunities and overseeing the annual volunteering calendar.
- Support and attend volunteering events to ensure volunteers are managed effectively and safely.
- Develop engaging content for digital platforms, including social media, email newsletters, fundraising communications and the website.
- Manage and grow United Way Australia's social media presence by creating content, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
- Support delivery of workplace giving, employee volunteering, partnered projects, fundraising campaigns and events.
- Assist in the logistics of event activations.
- Prepare reports on marketing and partnership activities for internal stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
- General office administration.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Events, Business (or similar), OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in marketing, communications, partnerships or volunteer management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills – a confident and approachable person.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Solutions oriented and resourceful approach to work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently.
- Experience in creating content for digital platforms (social media, email, websites).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with marketing tools (e.g., Hubspot, Hootsuite, Canva) preferred but not required.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Working with Children Check and Right to work in Australia.
- Australian Drivers Licence.
