Student and Scholarly Services (SASS) provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation. This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff.
The Safer Community Program (SCP) in SASS operates as the University's central support service for members of the University community to ensure a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.
As Senior Advisor - Gender Affirmation, you will act as the first point of contact for members of the University community wishing to affirm their gender at the University. You will provide evidence-based support in assisting staff and students to develop and implement their gender affirmation plan within chosen University settings, enabling a safe and positive experience.
You will play a key role in liaising with University services and programs to ensure systems, processes and other elements are in place to support the implementation of an individual’s gender affirmation plan, and will seek to influence change or improvements as needed.

You will have demonstrated understanding of the wellbeing considerations impacting on transgender and gender diverse individuals, and expertise in the provision of best practice interventions. You will be able to build trusting and productive relationships with stakeholders to influence and enhance inclusive and safe environments for transgender and gender diverse individuals.
