The Digital Health Research Fellow will be a member of the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health’s team that is developing the Digital Health Validitron, a novel and innovative pipeline for co-design, development, testing and validation of digital health solutions. The Digital Health Validitron will support developers from the industry, research or healthcare sectors to iteratively design and refine their digital health solutions to ready them for implementation in healthcare settings and for subsequent regulatory and reimbursement assessments.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of and/or experience in application development and interoperability, preferably of FHIR standards, and well-developed skills in the sociotechnical evaluation of digital health solutions using validated frameworks, and a demonstrated understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and the role of digital health in improving patient experience and outcomes.
The appointee will also contribute, as a team member, to convening the Steering Group and International Advisory Board for the Validitron and to Centre activities including staff meetings and seminars. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the personal attributes and organisational skills to drive the work of an academic, multi-disciplinary team.
