About the role

As the Executive Project Officer, you will provide high level executive administration and project support to the Director, Pathways to Politics for Women and Academic Coordinator, liaison on behalf of the Program with a broad range of external and internal stakeholders, as well as delivery support for Program sessions, workshops and alumni events, and other Program initiatives as required. Other key activities you will undertake include procurement and contract management, web updates, and administrative/systems support to Pathways Alumni Mentoring staff and participants.

About you

You will have excellent communication, event and project management skills and a strong interest in gender parity and women’s leadership. You will have experience prioritising tasks and managing time effectively and the ability to meet deadlines with an excellent attention to detail.

You will further have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and project management experience within a complex and demanding environment or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diary/schedule including managing multiple and changing priorities at short notice.
  • Demonstrated experience in event organisation and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to foster relationships with professional and academic staff across the University as well as with high profile external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience providing secretarial support to committees.
