We are offering a permanent part time position, approximately 3 days per week, with flexibility around working days. An Executive Assistant to provide secretarial and administrative support to UNICEF Australia’s Director of International and their team as required. The successful applicant will support the smooth running of the International team and will require a high level of confidentiality.
Director Support:Streamline and organise the work life of the Director of International so they can perform their role effectively
Administrative Support:General administration and coordination to support the International team, particularly during periods of high workload and on major initiatives
Travel Coordination:Manage complex travel itinerary planning and bookings for Director
Event Management: Organise and coordinate in the preparation of team meetings and events
UNICEF and other partner liaison:Regularly be the interface and contact point for key UNICEF offices and other Partners on behalf of Director and Programs Team
Presentations and Reporting:Preparing and coordinating internal and external reporting, presentations and briefings for Directors
Other duties as directed: Providing various forms of support on forums, meetings and committees as required
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in EA or PA work, including supporting and liaising with senior stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in diary management and general office administration including proficiency in Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Highly developed relationship management and strong customer service skills, with a high degree of tact and diplomacy
Demonstrated experience in events, budget, coordination and stakeholder management with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously, take a pro-active approach in your work and work with minimal supervision
Capable of operating at a high level and ability to multi-task under pressure
