Ambassador Relations Specialist

UNICEF Australia

UNICEF is the world’s largest children’s charity working to protect vulnerable children, globally and here in Australia. Run entirely on voluntary donations, we work to improve the lives of every vulnerable child, no matter who they are or where they live. Every day our teams are on the ground in 190 countries working with local partners to deliver lifesaving help and create lasting change. From vaccinating children in war zones to providing early childhood education access in Indigenous communities, donations help us to protect every child, no matter what.

  • Executing the 2022 ambassador strategy and calendar planning, and taking the lead planning for 2023
  • Facilitating strong collaboration and integration across the broader UNICEF Australia team to ensure effective ambassador impact during campaigns
  • Engage with other UNICEF offices on ambassador best practice and global activations

We would like you to have the following skills and experience

  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management experience; ideally with high profile individuals within the entertainment, sports and PR sectors
  • Creative and strong communicator with high-level attention to detail and event management experience
  • Strong networking skills across industries and sectors; ideally in the high profile and celebrity space
  • Innovative approach and willingness to think outside the box to support campaigns
  • Demonstrated knowledge of human rights, international development and world affairs
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a small, fast paced team

What will it feel like to work at UNICEF Australia

  • An environment and culture built on the importance of teamwork, collaboration and shared purpose
