About You

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech Pathology
• Experience working as an speech pathologist, ideally at least 5 years or relevant prior working experience
• Knowledge and experience working with paediatrics across a broad age range, including toddlers, children, adolescents and potentially young adults
• Experience with NDIS participants with a range of complex disabilities
• Generalist regarding caseload, with experience covering receptive and expressive language, social communication and speech
• Experience working with ASD and applying a strong neuro-affirming approach.
• Develop and implement individualised interventions following identification of treatment goals with clients
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (renewed every 3 years)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current AHPRA registration

How the role works from a day to day perspective

• Work from 15 hours a week upwards
• Be paid for direct, indirect and internal time
• Appointment bookings all handled by our admin staff, invoicing is automated
• We provide both professional and clinical supervision, both one on one and in peer groups
• We pay your super, and provide logins to all of your tech platforms to do the role
• Our hourly rates range from $55 to $88 (plus super) per hour. This translates to $107,250 - $171,600 FTE per annum.

  • Band 2 Mid career - $65 - 75
  • Band 3 Advanced / Senior - $80 - $88
