We are currently seeking to appoint an Assessment and Engagement Worker to work as a part of our UnitingCare Assessment and Service Connect Team based in Kingaroy. The Engagement and Assessment Worker will establish first contact with the family according to the priority and risk assessment level. You will undertake initial assessments with the family in the home or in an agreed location, establishing need and the required level of support and assistance.
You will need to be passionate about child protection and motivated to support families to enhance the safety and protection of vulnerable children and young people. The successful applicant will work closely with Child Safety and will require a high level of autonomy, excellent partnership building and communication skills.
