The Front Desk Administrator position is The Youth Junction Inc.’s key contact person for young people and organisations attending or seeking to contact the Visy Cares Hub and is responsible for providing high quality service as well as administrative and secretarial support. The Front Desk Administrator regularly interacts with staff of the Visy Cares Hub and the local community and assists with events, room management and fielding enquiries about the Youth Junction Inc as well as other services collocated within the Visy Cares Hub.
Responsibilities:
The Front Desk Administrator is responsible and accountable for but no limited to the following duties:
You are a collaborative youth focused professional with knowledge and understanding of working with young people. You want to make a difference in the lives of young people, and for the broader community. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You have the ability to manage time effectively and work with attention to detail. The role is full-time, based on a weekday, 9am-5pm roster, reporting to the Program Manager.
A current Working With Children’s Check;
Full Australian working rights.
A current Police Records Check or be willing to undertake this process.
Vaccination status as per state guidelines.

The Youth Junction Inc became an incorporated society in 1999 and by 2005 was an umbrella organisation for a range of coordinated and integrated services to meet the needs of young people aged 10 to 24 years based out of the Visy Cares Hub in Sunshine, focusing on early intervention.
In the years since the Youth Junction has carved out a space linked to the lead tenancy of the Visy Cares hub, and a recognised expertise in crime prevention support services for those aged 10-25 in Western Melbourne. Our ambition is framed by our values to be welcoming, empowering and evidence informed.
