Twenty10 incorporating GLCS NSW (Twenty10) provides a broad range of specialised services for LGBTIQA+ people and people of diverse genders, sexualities and intersex status including; housing, mental health, counselling and social supports for young people, counselling and social support services to adults, and inclusivity training and consultation for organisations and service providers across most sectors.

The Counsellor, Youth-focused plays a vital role in providing direct, support to young LGBTIQA+ people in New South Wales. Support provided could be connected to gender affirmation, suicide prevention, family and domestic violence, housing and homelessness, and other mental health presentations - and may come from Twenty10’s internal referrals or from external referral pathways. Providing support to young people who are trans and gender diverse, from outer metro Sydney and Regional NSW are key objectives of this role and includes a combination of in-person and telehealth (teleweb) support modalities.

This is a three-year contract, and works 60 hours per fortnight (8 day fortnight), with some work occurring after 5pm and on Saturdays, as per service provision, paid at SCHADS Level 5. The role is based in Inner Sydney with flexible working arrangements and commences in June 2023.
