As an experienced Project Lead or Manager you may looking to lead a complex and high-impact project that will shape the future of pharmacy care in Australia.
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia (the Guild) is seeking a capable and motivated Project Lead to deliver Project TACT (Transformation of Accreditation & Compliance), a nationally focused transformation program of works within its Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP).
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a strategic, multi-stream initiative that will modernise accreditation standards and uplift pharmacy practice nationwide.
Reporting to the Director, QCPP, you will design, coordinate, and deliver five key project objectives—managing timelines and outcomes while working closely with senior Guild executives and partner organisations, including JAS-ANZ and EY.
These objectives include:
Your experience with CRM platforms and working alongside technical teams will be essential in ensuring the program’s systems can support new processes and a better user experience for accredited pharmacies.
You’ll work with autonomy while maintaining close collaboration with senior stakeholders, ensuring a 'no surprises' approach to delivery. This role will suit you as someone who enjoys leading from both the strategic and operational levels—setting direction, solving problems, and getting things done.
Your demonstrated experience delivering projects or programs end-to-end, including planning, milestone delivery, risk management and stakeholder engagement will be critical. Your style is naturally collaborative and communicative, with the ability to influence outcomes and manage multiple aspects of the project simultaneously.
From a contextual perspective, any experience in a health, accreditation, regulatory, or a professional practice environment will be beneficial, although if with strong project management experience, you will be able to learn the environment.
The Guild is the national peak body representing community pharmacy owners operating across more than 5,800 pharmacies nationwide. Through advocacy, innovation, and enduring business solutions, the Guild supports community pharmacy as a cornerstone of Australia’s primary healthcare system.
This is a genuine opportunity to deliver lasting impact in a nationally significant program, while contributing to safer, more consistent care in the community pharmacy sector.
