The role you could play

We are seeking a dedicated Manager for our Supported Accommodation and Afterhours Crisis Response Program!You will be responsible for overseeing operations of Family Domestic Violence short-term refuge. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of a 24 hour service providing emergency accommodation and case management.

Duties

  • Delivery of operational/local plans aligned to state agenda
  • Oversight of refuge practice and service delivery
  • Supporting property management to ensure good governance
  • Participate in 'on call', after hours and weekend roster as required
  • Ensure continuous quality improvement at regional level
  • Plan for compliance accreditation requirements and support accreditation assessments

​This is a permanent full-time position, based in Coburg Office, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 7.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Degree qualification in Social Work or related Family Violence benchmark qualification field and at relevant experience, including management experience requirements
  • Experience in active membership in community or government bodies within the sector
  • Significant experience in managing case management and outreach support services - experience in the family violence sector is an advantage
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Relevant State Working with Children's Check
