This position will be instrumental in connecting students and their families into relevant activities at The Salvation Army Camberwell Corps.
The Just Brass program, a community music program, was established to provide opportunities to primary school students who would not normally have access to a high-quality music program.
Camberwell Corps are currently seeking a values-driven person to engage with at-risk students in partnering primary schools, through the provision of brass instrument tuition, participation in school-based ensembles, leadership development opportunities, and in a Just Brass band. The office of the position is located at Camberwell Corps however time will mostly be spent at partnering Schools.
This position will work up to 10 hours per week fixed term to end of Term 4 2021. One day per week will be located at the participating school for tuition (day to be negotiated between the school and candidate) and attendance on Friday afternoons will be required for rehearsals at the Corps. Minimal work may be needed during school holidays.
