About the Role

Brand new opportunity for an Insights Analyst to join our Glen Waverley, Melbourne team on a permanent full time basis. This role will report to the Reporting and Insight Manager and will provide support with insights through advanced data analytics to improve future fundraising performance and achieve longer term strategic objectives of the fundraising department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extracting & analysing data for donor communication & fundraising using data from various sources
• Undertaking advanced analytics to help business have deeper understanding of trends, patterns and predicting future performance
• Contribute to the design, implementation and testing of key data products including donor journey analysis, customer lifetime value modelling, behavioural analysis, correlation model, next best decision model, ROI model, marketing mix modelling, customer segmentation models, etc
• Supports the design, management and insights including donor profiling, segmentation, targeting, fundraising campaigns productivity and profitability, competitive and market insights and forecasting

About You

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Data/Computer Science or Commerce or similar preferred
• Proven experience working with and interpreting/reporting campaign/marketing data
• Data management experience gained in a fundraising or direct marketing environment will be highly regarded
• Experience using database extraction, processing and visualisation tools preferred e.g. SQL, Phython, R, Power BI
• Strong programming skills in languages relevant to data analysis
