Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS) operates within the National Homelessness Stream of The Salvation Army (TSA) and is situated across multiple sites with the Wimmera South West Region.
You will build on your homelessness knowledge and experience to advance the issue of homelessness within the Wimmera South West. As a motivated and proactive individual you will provide assessment, information and referral, support, case management, counseling for clients who are socially isolated, homeless or at risk of homelessness.
This is a part time permanent position 21.7 hours per week based in the Horsham office. The Outreach position services Horsham and Hindmarsh LGA's. The Hindmarsh outposts are to be visited twice a month and as needed basis. Salary and conditions are in accordance with Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award/General Retail Industry Award, Level 5.
