About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Flagstaff Residential Service Coordinator! You will be a part of a collaborative community support team that provides housing and community support to 64 single men experiencing homelessness, mental health and AOD health issues in West Melbourne. Additionally, as the Flagstaff Residential Service Coordinator you will operate with limited direction and have managerial responsibility for the following program areas:

  • Community Support Services
  • Residential Services Intake Program
  • Flagstaff Front of House Services
  • On site Chaplaincy Support

Responsibilities include

  • Provide residents with access to a range of holistic supports including tailored brief interventions
  • Foster culture of Rights Based Approach for client dignity and excellence in service delivery
  • Analyse and use data collection to evaluate service delivery outcomes
  • Exercise managerial responsibility for the Flagstaff Community Support Team
  • Lead others to optimal individual and team performance
  • Provide analysis of and context for data and advocate for the needs of the residents and staff
  • Lead regional working groups and team building activities as required

This is a permanent full-time position, based in Flagstaff, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 7 Award.

You will have:

  • ​Degree qualification in social work, social science, psychology, or related field
  • Extensive relevant experience in the social service sector including management and supervision of staff
  • A National police record check and
  • Working with Children's Check is required
  • Verification of Qualifications & certifications is required prior to commencement in the role
  • Disclosure of pre-existing health conditions that may impact on fulfilling position requirements
  • Participation in On Call Roster
