Are you an Enrolled Nurse with strong clinical skills and leadership competency, wanting to take your career to the next level?

We currently have part time vacancies for Enrolled Nurses at our Elizabeth Jenkins Place Aged Care Centre in Collaroy.

EJP is our stunning new residential aged care centre. Located in the beautiful seaside suburb of Collaroy, the Centre resembles a typical Australian home with tranquil garden areas throughout. It's a warm and inviting home to 130 residents.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Delivery of all aspects of care to residents
• Reporting directly to the NIC, ensure any changes in resident status and any staffing issues are reported , to facilitate prompt, effective clinical and personnel related decision making
• Supervise Care Service Employees
• Receiving and when necessary acting on, reports from the previous shift
• Developing, and maintaining all requisite documentation
• Ensuring your professional development is maintained to at least the minimum required for continuing registration

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role, ideally we are looking for:

• An understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army
• A current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) for a minimum of 2 years
• Demonstrated aged care experience, the ability to work as part of a team and promote education and leadership in aged care
• Understanding of and commitment to continuous quality improvement
• An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
• An understanding of Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
• Demonstrated well developed computer and documentation skills
