About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Business Operational Support for our Family Violence Program! You will provide support for day-to-day operations of the program and manage an effective delivery of high-quality administration support to a service that aid Family Violence clients with a range and combination of complex needs.

Duties

  • Maintain a methodical record system for all finance related responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to staff
  • Maintain quality systems and databases, e.g. digital archiving (SharePoint), forms presentation, LEARN administration, mobiles, and phone systems
  • Maintain appropriate records for shared organisational resources
  • Maintain effective administrative processes to ensure information is easy to use and retrieve
  • Screen and distribute mails and ensure items requiring urgent attention are appropriately flagged for immediate attention whilst ensuring confidentiality

This is a fixed term part-time position, 12 months, 24 hours per week, based in Sunshine, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 3 Award.

You will have

  • Relevant Business qualification such as Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration (desired)
  • Demonstrated experience in administration responsibilities
  • Experience in working for NFP and family violence sector (desired)
  • Well-developed interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to maintain confidentiality of service users and handle sensitive information
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • A high level of knowledge of administration specific skills, e.g. Word, Excel, IT, finance management and security management
  • A valid Employee Working with Children's Check
  • Victorian Driver's Licence
