About Tresillian

The Royal Society for the Welfare of Mothers and Babies, trading as Tresillian, was formed in 1918 to coordinate early child and maternal health care services in New South Wales (NSW). Tresillian is now the largest early child and family health and parenting service in Australia, operating from four sites in metropolitan Sydney and numerous regional and rural sites supporting service provision to families across NSW, Victoria and ACT.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a contract Client Services Assistant (Food and Domestic Services). The CSA will ensure the provision of high quality general services, cleaning, food preparation and housekeeping to meet the needs of families attending the Tresillian QEII facility. The successful applicant will be required to work on a 7 day rotating roster which includes morning, day and afternoon shifts, covering 7.00am – 7.00pm.

The successful applicant will be willing to train in all areas and be well versed in:

  • Infection control
  • Food safety standards
  • Manual Handling

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  • Previous Experience and knowledge of the principles of housekeeping and cleaning
  • Ability to perform catering and manual handling tasks associated with the role.
  • Working knowledge of the principles of Infection Control.

Desirable:

  • Hospital or Hotel housekeeping experience.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Available to work weekdays, morning/evenings and weekends shifts.

Prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to:

  • Undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.
  • Comply with ACT Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy
  • Provide evidence of 3 COVID-19 vaccinations via a Vaccination Certificate or provision of an authorised exemption for consideration – please include this with your application.
  • Obtain a Working with Vulnerable Peoples Check.
