Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review case plans with a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach
- Provide therapeutic case management for children and young people in care
- Coordinate and attend relevant appointments, including medical, school, and family contact
- Maintain high-quality, factual documentation that meets legislative and ethical standards
- Engage with carers and families to promote stability and connection
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and comply with all care standards and regulations
- Participate in reflective supervision, peer debriefs, and organisational learning
Who You Are
- You have a Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Teaching, Community Services, Counselling, or related areas
- You understand the realities of working in child and family welfare, and bring a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and therapeutic mindset
- Need to be willing to travel for the role - car pool available
- You can manage competing priorities and compliance requirements without losing sight of the child's voice
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, and you're confident preparing reports and maintaining detailed case notes
- Need to be available to work full-time
- You're tech-savvy, organised, and confident using client record systems
- Have a minimum of 12 months of experience working as Therapeutic Case Manager
- You meet all mandatory compliance requirements including:

- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- National Criminal History Check (NCHC)
- Valid Driver's Licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle
- First Aid & CPR (desirable)
