We are looking for NDIS Support Coordinator for casual opportunity. On offer is flexible working arrangements and a competitive rate.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage a caseload that comprises people with a disability, purchasers, their families, and networks who present with a variety of needs or service requests, in accordance with relevant legislation and specified within professional practice guidelines.
  • Identify and implement innovative service delivery strategies that empower participants to exercise choice and control to access a range of formal and informal mainstream and community-based supports which will assist them to achieve their goals.
  • Maintain current knowledge and provide expert advice to the team, participants, their families, and carers on any changes in NDIS regulations.
  • Fully understand the environment in which the participant is living and be able to respond to, and resolve, crisis circumstances that impact on the participants' ability to achieve their goals.
  • Manage financial resources in a complex environment, utilizing a sound mathematical understanding and effective budget planning, including to work within the funding levels associated with each participant (continually track and monitor billable hours) and to maximise value for the funding they have.

What you will need

Previous experience in a similar role is a requirement

  • NDIS Screen Clearance Check
  • Certificate III In Aged Care or Individual Support or Community Services
  • Experience in NDIS Funding and Plan Management
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Victorian driver's license
  • Any forms of Compliance we will need for them to be active
  • Covid Vaccinations (No Boosters Required, 2 doses)

You will also be willing to undergo police and Working with Children Checks, as well as provide 2 recent managerial references.
