Tour de Cure is one of Australia's leading cancer fundraising organisations, bringing people together through inspiring events, community engagement and life-changing fundraising initiatives. We are seeking an energetic and commercially minded South Australian State Manager to lead our growth across South Australia.

This is a unique opportunity to combine your relationship-building, fundraising and leadership skills to make a real difference in the lives of Australians impacted by cancer. We are open part-time of 3.5 - to full-time 5 days per week (or a combination to enable 0.7-1 FTE) to find the most exceptional candidate.

About the Role

The role will be responsible for driving fundraising growth, developing strategic partnerships, supporting volunteers and delivering
impactful events across South Australia.

The incumbent will play a critical role in building a sustainable state operation by strengthening corporate relationships, enhancing community engagement and implementing systems and processes that support long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Partnerships

  • Develop and manage relationships with corporate partners, major donors and key stakeholders
  • Secure sponsorships, partnerships and fundraising opportunities
  • Build a strong pipeline of new revenue opportunities
  • Drive significant growth in fundraising outcomes across South Australia

Strategy & Growth

  • Support the implementation of the South Australian growth strategy
  • Identify and launch new events and fundraising initiatives
  • Drive participation and engagement across rides, galas and community events
  • Implement scalable systems and processes aligned with national operations

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the key link between the South Australian operation and the national office
  • Manage budgets, reporting and administration requirements
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, industry bodies and community stakeholders
  • Foster collaboration across volunteers, committees and national teams

Volunteer & Event Management

  • Recruit, engage and support a growing volunteer network
  • Provide leadership through event planning and delivery
  • Work closely with volunteer leaders to increase participation and impact
  • Represent Tour de Cure at events and community activities throughout the state

About You

We're looking for a motivated and relationship-focused professional who thrives in a purpose-driven environment.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, partnerships, business development or revenue generation
  • A strong track record of securing and managing high-value relationships
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and targets
  • The ability to create structure, systems and processes in a growing organisation
  • Strong communication, organisational and leadership capabilities

Highly Regarded

  • Experience within the not-for-profit sector
  • Events management experience
  • Working with volunteers, boards or committees
