We offer two specialised programs (Targeted Early Intervention & Specialist Homelessness Service), along with a drop-in emergency relief assistance for members of the Blue Mountains community.

About the role

  • Hours: 18 hours/week (3 days - Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday)
  • Award: SCHADS 2010 Level 3
  • Location: Lithgow NSW

The Community Liaison & Administration Worker plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of our Lithgow office. This role involves assisting with intake and referrals, performing administrative tasks, and supporting community programs/initiatives. The position also promotes community engagement and may support programs in the Blue Mountains as needed. Join our team and help make a difference in the lives of local families.

About you

To be successful in your application, you will need:

  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in administration, coordination, or support roles within the community services sector.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or diploma qualifications in community services or a similar field, or currently undertaking study in this field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and respectful engagement.
  • Excellent skills in computer programs such as MS Office, and ability to learn new databases or programs.
  • High level of organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of intake processes and the ability to connect individuals with appropriate services.
  • Must have a current working with children check number.
  • Current NSW driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
  • Must have National Criminal Check or will apply for one prior to commencement.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
