  • Energy Marketplace: We help businesses find below market prices on their energy and streamline the switching and billing process while helping energy retailers reach more customers. Our goal is to become a one-stop shop for energy retailers to offer their products.
  • Business Intelligence and Modelling Tools: Our reporting tools help businesses track everything from cost and emissions to the highest ROI energy upgrade across a business that usually takes weeks to months to analyse.

Termina is looking for a trailblazing Sales Business Analyst to build, develop, and supercharge strategic relationships across our ecosystem (Retailers, Brokers, Energy Consultants). Working closely with our founders, you’ll drive transformative growth and forge partnerships that redefine the energy industry, propelling Termina into its next chapter.

What You'll Own

  • Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement across our energy marketplace and business intelligence tools.
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Work closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements for new features and system enhancements.
  • System Optimisation: Develop and implement strategies to optimise our energy management platform, focusing on improving user experience and system functionality.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of system improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and managing expectations throughout project lifecycles.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute change management plans to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes across the organisation.
  • Data Governance: Establish and maintain data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance across Termina’s platforms.
  • Lead Generation Optimisation: Developing our lead generation strategy and funnel to get more high-quality leads for our sales team. Including developing an industry segmentation strategy for the sales team.
  • Sales Funnel Optimisation: From testing and assessing current lead generation format and flow, to analysis of sales conversation rates.
  • Commission payout optimisation: improving the operations surrounding commission payouts.
  • Optimise Tendering: Improving lead time for tendering prices to get more pricing to customers and leads faster.
  • Developing and Backtesting an SDR Strategy: Testing an SDR strategy with a data-driven approach to prove the benefit to the business, especially for enterprise deals.

Who you are

  • Get sh#t done: You have a strong bias to action with a track record of achieving results in fast-paced and uncertain environments.
  • Strategic Thinker: You can get into the weeds but always track the bigger picture. You have experience building and then executing on a 6-12 month plan.
  • Analytical approach: You know your way around a spreadsheet, SQL and building data pipelines. You are confident diving into the data to better understand an opportunity.
  • Systems Thinker: You have a knack for understanding complex systems and can easily identify how changes in one area might affect others.
  • Detail-Oriented Analyst: You’re meticulous in your approach to data analysis and requirements gathering, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Effective Communicator: You can translate technical concepts into language that stakeholders from various backgrounds can understand.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in sales operations, sales, data analytics, or a related role.
  • Experience with SQL and excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills and an internal champion across multiple teams.
  • Deep understanding of the Energy, SaaS, or Technology industry is a plus.
  • Startup/high growth experience is a plus.
