Join Victoria’s leading LGBTIQA+ community-controlled health service in a dynamic, client-centred role.
This newly created position will be based within our General Counselling Service, providing culturally safe, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapeutic support to clients impacted by mental health concerns, minority stress, trauma, identity exploration, and other psychosocial challenges.

In addition to your salary of SCHADS Level 5 (pro-rata) and superannuation, Thorne Harbour also pays above award. You’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.

You will have a tertiary qualification in Psychology, full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and eligibility to provide Medicare-rebated psychological services under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative (i.e., possession of or ability to obtain a Medicare Provider Number).
