Lead a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of practitioners in delivering LGBTIQ+ and HIV+ affirmative alcohol and other drug treatment across Victoria. As a leading LGBTIQ+ community-led organisation, Thorne Harbour Health’s AOD program delivers peer and therapeutic group work, counselling, case management and sector training alongside our family violence and general counselling teams.

This role holds clinical oversight of two team leaders who manage the operational work of the team and brings a strong focus on sector linkage and capacity building, training and development and advocacy for better outcomes for LGBTIQ+ and HIV+ people who use drugs.

To be considered for the role you must have:

  • a relevant tertiary qualification in health or community work, such as social work, psychology, or counselling
  • a Certificate IV in AOD or equivalent, or willingness to undertake within the first 12 months of employment
  • membership of a relevant professional association (e.g., AASW, AHPRA, APS)
