Our research driven Clown Doctor and Laughter Care programs work with sick children in hospital and elderly people with dementia in aged care facilities to deliver the therapeutic benefits of laughter and joy where it is unexpected, but most needed.

Last year our work benefited over 250,000 Australians.

We are passionate about what we do and are looking for a talented coordinator who is equally passionate about our work.

The Role

3-4 days per week depending on experience and availability

Responsible for the delivery of our community fundraising activities, you will concentrate on coordinating our existing community fundraising activities, including promoting these initiatives to amplify their reach.

You will also support new and existing opportunities to grow the community fundraising portfolio.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fundraising role or relationship management/events role.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully delivering fundraising campaigns or events with strong skills in project management.
  • Contributing to community fundraising activity planning.
  • With the Fundraising and Marketing manager, seek out and confirm partnership opportunities for community events.
  • Demonstrated experience providing quality supporter care and engagement for fundraisers.
  • Highly organised and have a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to keep accurate supporter records in a CRM system.
