About the Role

Alinea International is seeking applications from candidates interested in senior or principal consultant positions to join our dynamic team and help drive Alinea International's future directions. We are keen to hear from people with 10+ years of professional experience working in the international aid and development sector, or people who have worked with indigenous communities in Australia or elsewhere.

Applications are open to people with any of the skills and capabilities listed above us, with this recruitment round particularly focusing on Monitoring and Evaluation skills. Importantly, we are seeking people who are keen to work within a team environment for shared learning, and who have exceptional writing and interpersonal skills. Alignment with Alinea International values is also important.

Selection Criteria

• Either:
  • Advanced university degree (Masters) in social sciences, international development or related discipline, or equivalent, and a minimum of five years’ experience working in international aid and development or with Australian Aboriginal communities; or
  • Any tertiary qualification with at least ten years’ experience working in international aid and development or with Australian Aboriginal communities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Australian aid program.
• Knowledge and experience of program design, program review, and monitoring and evaluation.
• Self-driven with a good sense of judgement and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel overseas (duration and frequency is negotiable).

Remuneration

Senior and Principal Consultants with 10+ years experience: starting at $116,000 + superannuation, up to $146,142 + superannuation depending on skills and experience.
