We are currently looking for a Senior Manager - Mental Health & Wellbeing to join our team based in our Bentley office. This key appointment will be responsible for leading the strategic outcomes for the Mental Health and Wellbeing division, driving operational excellence, effectiveness, and efficiency.
The role will manage and coach a multidisciplinary group of Team Leaders and Clinicians fostering a high performance, inclusive culture that seeks to deliver a positive customer experience in line with legislation, policies, and values of Therapy Focus.
What’s the role?
- Focus on the performance and growth of the Positive Behaviour Support and Psychology services and work collaboratively with peers to ensure high quality multidisciplinary practices are maintained for customers
- Ensure performance across the team to budget and manage a P & L with the leadership team to achieve the vision and goals of the business
- Oversee the management of complex clinical budgets and funding to ensure all services are cost effective and resource efficient
- Manage 4 Team Leaders (and oversee their team of clinicians) to drive performance through quality service delivery
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, contracts, and regulations to minimise risk and enhance Therapy Focus brand
- Represent Therapy Focus on external committees, working parties and other groups, maintaining effective sector networks and communications connected with strategic outcomes
- Fosters and promotes a high performing, inclusive organisational culture by embodying the values and purpose of Therapy Focus
- Works closely with the People, Talent & Culture team to grow and retain a workforce that meets operational needs
- Participates in Therapy Focus’ clinical and corporate governance, policy and procedure formulation, implementation, and evaluation
- Support the Team Leaders and clinical team in the management of complex clients and changing client risk profiles.

What’s required?
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology
- Current professional registration (AHPRA)
- Extensive experience working at a strategic management level coupled with a background in Mental Health
- Experience and understating of the NDIS
- Knowledge of and experience in Positive Behaviour Support
- Psychology Board approved Supervisor is desirable
- Demonstrable experience driving performance excellence aligned to business purpose, strategies and values
- Able to articulate an opinion on strategic matters, and support opinion and advice with analysis and data
- Demonstrable people leadership and management skills with the ability to coach and develop multi-disciplinary teams whilst promoting an inclusive culture
- Outstanding communication, influencing and engagement skills
- Ability to develop, inform and implement policy relevant to the services under your management
- Able to build & sustain a diverse range of collaborative relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrable integrity, self-awareness, personal drive, resilience, and professionalism
- Experience of liaising with government bodies is highly desirable
- Ability to produce documents to a high level of quality and presentation.
