As a Consultant, your core role will include:
- Facilitating mentoring sessions with each individual on a weekly basis
- Planning and coordinating new valued roles for each mentee in community
- Consulting with key stakeholders including family, supporters, friends and community
- Working within South Eastern suburbs

You must have:
- Ability to be self-motivated and work autonomously
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders from various background
- A deep commitment to and belief in all people with disability having a genuinely good life in community
- Good written communication skills and experience in planning and report writing
- Experience using Microsoft office
- Understanding of community and community development
- Experience in working with vulnerable people, particularly those living with a disability
- An understanding of, or willingness to learn about Social Role Valorisation, The National Disability Insurance Scheme, Customised Employment and Individualised Living Arrangements
It would be desirable for you to have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Social Work, Disability Studies, Counselling, Allied Health)
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
