We have an opportunity for your career to make a difference! We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to join our Cardiovascular Division.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Research Assistant who will be responsible for conducting health questionnaires as well as providing blood pressure checks in conjunction with community health screening events hosted by another healthcare provider.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct blood pressure screening for community members as part of May Measurement Month (MMM), in conjunction with an external healthcare provider.
  • Travel to various sites within Sydney Metropolitan area to conduct these checks.
  • Conduct a health questionnaire as per the MMM research protocol.

Our successful candidate has/is:

  • Currently studying or have completed a relevant degree in health or medical sciences
  • Willingness to travel within Sydney Metropolitan area for screening events
  • Current driver’s license
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Desirable: Experience in healthcare setting and experience in people-facing roles e.g. sales, medical receptionist
