A PhD scholarship is now available for a suitably qualified individual to undertake research studies related to drowning prevention in Australia and worldwide.
The successful PhD candidate will be part of a team delivering high quality research in the area of injury prevention, with a specific focus on drowning. The PhD candidate will be under the academic supervision of Dr Jagnoor Jagnoor and will work closely other members from the injury division. During this PhD opportunity the candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders such as the Royal Life Saving Society Australia to co-develop drowning prevention interventions.

TGI will support the applicant in enrolling into a PhD degree, as well as support in obtaining scholarship via UNSW
Where a scholarship may not be offered, a stipend to the value of $35,000 per annum for 3 years, from TGI will be considered.
